Abstract:
The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition containing high content of a Centella asiatica extract or Centella asiatica selec. triterpene, which is a poorly soluble plant extract ingredient. More specifically, the present invention relates to an oil-in-water cosmetic composition containing high content of a Centella asiatica extract and/or Centella asiatica selec. triterpene and in a stable manner, by dispersing a Centella asiatica extract and/or Centella asiatica selec. triterpene at a high temperature together with certain polymer polyols to prepare a water phase comprising a Centella asiatica extract and/or a triterpene, upon preparation of the water phase.
