Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition containing, as an active ingredient, a lithospermate derivative derived from Salvia miltiorrhiza for reducing or preventing wrinkles, and more specifically, to a composition for reducing or preventing wrinkles, wherein the composition contains a natural compound derived from Salvia miltiorrhiza, and thus has neither side effects nor toxicity to the human body and reduces or prevents wrinkles through activation of PPARs, promotion of pro-collagen production, and inhibition of MMP activity.
