Abstract:
The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition suitable for administration by the oral route and designed to prevent and/or correct the functional disorders of the pilo-sebaceous unit of mammals, in particular by combating the cutaneous activation of the androgens over the course of time, said composition containing polyunsaturated fatty acids, flavonoids and stilbenes. The objects of the invention are also a cosmetic method using such a composition, as well as the use of such a composition for the preparation of a food supplement designed to prevent and/or correct the functional disorders of the pilo-sebaceous unit of mammals, especially for the treatment of oily and/or hyper-seborrheic skin and/or scalp, thin hair, hypertrichosis and/or alopecia in human.
