Abstract:
Provided is a transparent cosmetic composition that provides excellent feel when used and excellent ceramide dissolution stability. The cosmetic composition according to the present invention comprises a ceramide (a), a surfactant (b), and water (c), and is characterized by containing (a) in an amount of 0.00001-5.0 wt% with respect to the total amount of the cosmetic composition, containing a polyglycerol aliphatic ether as (b) in an amount of 0.1-5.0 wt% with respect to the total amount of the cosmetic composition, and containing (c) in an amount of at least 50.0 wt% with respect to the total amount of the cosmetic composition. It is preferable for the polyglycerol aliphatic ether to contain a polyglycerol mono-aliphatic ether in an amount of at least 75 wt% with respect to the total amount of the polyglycerol aliphatic ether and to contain a polyglycerol di-aliphatic ether in an amount of at most 5 wt% with respect to the total amount of the polyglycerol aliphatic ether.
