Abstract:
A cosmetic composition according to the present invention is characterized by containing the following component (A), component (B), component (C), and component (D): (A) a nonionic surfactant having an HLB value of 8-15; (B) an aliphatic alcohol having 12-24 carbon atoms; (C) water; and (D) an oil-soluble ultraviolet absorber having a melting point of -50°C to 50°C, wherein the molar ratio of the component (A) to the component (B) is 3:97 to 33:67, and when a scattering angle (2θ) measured by the irradiation with X-rays having a wavelength λ of 0.154 nm (Cu-kα) at 25°C using a small angle X-ray scattering measuring device is within the range of 0-5°, the ratio (value of peak II/value of peak I) between the peak angles (2θ) of a peak I firstly detected and a peak II subsequently detected is in the range of 1.8-2.2.
