Abstract:
The present invention provides: a cosmetic container which is capable of giving a sufficient visual stimulus to a user; and a method for producing this cosmetic container. A cosmetic container 1 according to the present invention contains a stick-shaped cosmetic product by means of a container main body 10 and a cover 60 engaged with each other. The cover 60 is formed of a transparent material; and the container main body 10 is provided with a cylindrical aluminum sleeve 50 which is visible from the outside of the cover 60, while holding the stick-shaped cosmetic product. An oxide coating film is formed on the surface of the aluminum sleeve 50 by means of alumite treatment; the oxide coating film is provided with a porous layer wherein a plurality of pores are formed; and the amplitude of depth variation of the plurality of pores is defined to be not less than a predetermined standard value.
