Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a cosmetic container capable of stabilizing the operation of a hinge part provided with a single pivoting shaft member having a biasing means, and improving the opening and closing function of a lid. [Solution] The present invention has: a container main body for accommodating cosmetics; a freely pivoting lid provided on the container main body that is able to open and close the container main body; and a first pivoting support member (6) and a second pivoting support mechanism (7), provided on the pivot shaft about which the lid pivots, and adapted for supporting the lid while pivoting with respect to the container main body. The first pivoting support member is provided with a pivot member (12) and a locking member (13) for compressing and releasing the compression of a compression coil spring in the direction along the pivot shaft, by pivoting the lid and the compression coil spring (14) generating resilience when compressed in the direction along the pivot shaft between the container main body and the lid; and the second pivoting support mechanism is provided with a shaft portion (10) of a second pivoting support member, and fan-shaped convex and concave portions (3e, 3g, 10a, 10b) for compressing and releasing the compression of the compression coil spring in the direction along the pivot shaft by pivoting the lid.
