Abstract:

The present invention is a cosmetic containing a glycyrrhetinic acid represented by the general formula (1) and a nonionic surfactant represented by the general formula (2). (In formula (1), R1 represents -C12H25, -C14H29, -C16H33, -C18H37, or -C20H41, and R2 represents a hydrogen atom; alternatively, R1 represents a hydrogen atom, and R2 represents -(C=0)C11H23, -(C=0)C13H27, -(C=0)C15H31, or -(C=0)C17H35)) R-Q-(CH2CH(CH3)O)m-(CH2CH2O)n-H (2) (In formula (2), R is a C16-C24 alkyl group or alkenyl group, or a residue excluding a single hydroxyl group from a phytosterol, Q is an ether group or an ester group, m is the average addition molar number of propylene oxide from 0 to 8, and n is the average addition molar number of ethylene oxide from 20 to 60.)
