Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a cosmetic which exhibits excellent adhesion and can form a uniform cosmetic film, which does not cause makeup deterioration even after the lapse of time, which exhibits nonsticky and excellent feelings in use, and which exhibits stable dispersion of a powder and therefore causes little change with time. In order to solve the problem, a powder which is surface-treated with at least one compound represented by general formula (1) is provided. In the formula: R2 is a monovalent C6-12 aromatic hydrocarbon group; R4 is a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent C1-30 hydrocarbon group exclusive of aromatic hydrocarbon groups; R1 and R0 are selected from among the groups as defined for R2 and R4; R3 is a group represented by formula (2) [wherein R5 is a divalent C2-8 hydrocarbon group, and R6 is C1-6 alkyl]; a is an integer of 0 to 3; b is an integer of 0 to 200; c is an integer of 1 to 150; d is an integer of 0 to 50 with the proviso that d is 1 to 50 when a is 0; e is an integer of 0 to 2; and the relationship c/(b+c+d)≥0.25 is satisfied.
