Abstract:
A chloride measuring apparatus according to one exemplary embodiment of the present invention can be useful in measuring a chloride ion content in a measurement target object by introducing the measurement target object into an electrolyte solution to measure a chloride ion content in the measurement target object, applying an oxidative current to a reactant, which reacts with chloride ions, to ionize the reactant in the electrolyte solution, and measuring a quantity of the oxidative current applied when the chloride ions react with the ionized reactant. The chloride measuring apparatus includes an ionization electrode unit configured to apply the oxidative current to the reactant so that the reactant reacting with the chloride ions is ionized in the electrolyte solution, a reference voltage unit configured to provide a constant reference voltage to the electrolyte solution, a measurement voltage unit configured to measure a measurement voltage which is a voltage that changes in the electrolyte solution according to the reaction of the ionized reactant with the chloride ions, and a control unit configured to calculate the chloride ion content in the measurement target object based on a quantity of the oxidative current applied to the reactant and control either the ionization electrode unit or the reference voltage unit based on pre-set conditions.
