Abstract:
A counting method, a counter, and a storage medium, wherein said method comprises: detecting whether a count request source is present (101); if a count request source is present, obtaining the count number and server-related parameters within the current unit time of the count request source (102); determining the current database updating mode for the count request source according to said count number or said server-related parameters, wherein said mode comprises a real-time mode and a high-performance mode (103); if the current database updating mode for the count request source is a high-performance mode, then the current count produced by the count request source running on a server is accumulated, resulting in a cumulative value (104); updating the current cumulative value of the count request source to a database according to a pre-set frequency (105).
