Abstract:
In order to provide a coupler and the like capable of suitably inhibiting failures in which concrete, which has not yet hardened, spills from the gap between a tension end-side anchor plate and an unbonded PC steel rod when manufacturing a precast concrete box culvert, this coupler comprises a coupler main body in which a female screw portion is provided to the inner circumferential surface of an insertion hole, and said coupler employs a configuration such that: the coupler main body comprises a cylindrical front end portion having the female screw portion in the inner circumferential surface, and a back end portion integrally provided to the back of the front end portion in axial alignment therewith, and having a larger diameter than the front end portion, wherein the diameter of the front end portion is set to be smaller than a communication hole of the anchor plate provided to the box culvert.
