Abstract:
Disclosed are a coupler for a robot arm for single port surgery, and a surgical robot comprising the same. The coupler for a robot arm for single port surgery, which is a coupler used in a surgical robot to be operated while surgical instruments are mounted to each of a plurality of robot arms, comprises: a body; coupling portions, which are formed in the body, and are coupled to the each end of a plurality of robot arms to enable the plurality of robot arms to be set in a preset state for single port surgery; and a plurality of throughholes for allowing each of a plurality of instruments to be penetrated so as to inserted into a single port perforated in the surgical site of a patient, perforated in the body. A general robot for laparoscopic surgery can also be used as a robot for single port surgery by connecting a plurality of robot arms one after another with the coupler for single port surgery.
