Abstract:
A coupler (10) to which a shaft (110) is attachable is provided. The coupler (10) includes a base (12). The base (12) is formed with an upper side (14) and an lower side (16). The lower side (16) is substantially a flat planar surface. One or more ball washer assemblies (40) are provided for mounting the base (12) on a curved surface (38'). In addition, the present invention includes a tub (70) that is adjustably connectable to the base (12). A plug (72) is provided that is repositionably attachable to the tub (70). In addition, a neck (74) is provided. The neck (74) is insertable into the plug (72). The neck (74) also is formed to support the shaft (110). The invention includes a clevis mechanism (96) that is slidably and demountably engageable with both the plug (72) and the neck (74).
