Abstract:
Between the socket (S10) and the plug (P10) of a coupler (10), a pair of first identification means (60) which prevent fitting with a different coupler are provided on opposite sides of the center axis of fit-in coupling of the coupler (10). Within the first identification means (60), a pair of second identification means (70) are provided on the opposite sides of the center axis of the fit-in coupling. The second identification means (70) are arranged within the inscribed circle (within a circle of a diameter T1, T2) of the minimum width of a device to be provided with the coupler (10). Therefore, many kinds of identification can be performed with a simple shape by the combination of the first and second identification means (60, 70). Moreover, the coupler (10) is simply compatible with even a device thin in thickness by arranging the second identification means (70) within the inscribed circle (within the circle of the diameter T1, T2) of the minimum width (T1, T2) and arranging the first identification means (60) outside.
