Abstract:
The present invention relates to a press apparatus for manufacturing a heat sink. The press apparatus enables metal sheet coils to be intermittently passed through a gap between an upper jig and a lower jig to produce a plurality of heat sink units, wherein the lower jig comprises: a forming unit arranged along the direction in which the metal sheet coils are sequentially fed to process the metal sheet coils into heat sink units; a loading unit arranged at one end of the forming unit such that the formed and separated heat sink units are stacked in the thickness direction thereof; a coupling unit arranged in the loading unit to consecutively couple each of the heat sink units stacked in the loading unit to an adjacent heat sink unit; and a discharge unit for discharging the heat sink units that have been coupled together. The thus-configured press apparatus of the present invention performs a process of forming heat sink units from the metal sheet coils and a process of consecutively coupling heat sink units together to uniformly produce an aggregated heat sink body at one time, thereby eliminating the necessity of performing a post-process of coupling and fixing each of the heat sink units together after the formation of said heat sink units, and thus shortening production time.
