Abstract:
A cover for closing an opening, provided with a first member (8) and a second member (9) in order to close the opening (4) in a suspension tower top wall (2). The first member (8) is formed in a ring-like shape so as to correspond to the opening (4) and has at the lower part thereof engaging claws (15) for engaging with the inner peripheral edge (5a) of the opening (4). The second member (9) is provided with an insertion section (22) which is inserted in the first member (8) and, on the basis of the relationship of the engagement of the insertion section (22) with the first member (8), imposes the restriction on the rotation and separation of the insertion section (22) relative to the first member (8). The second member (9) is also provided with a lid section (21) for covering the opening (25) of the first member (8), and the insertion section (22) and the lid section (21) are integral with each other. Also, the insertion section (22) of the second member (9) is, when having established the state of the restriction, positioned so as to face the inner surfaces of the engaging claws (15) and minimizes the deflection of the engaging claws (15) of the first member (8) in the direction in which the engagement of the engaging claws (15) is released. The configuration enables the first member (8) and the second member (9) to be mounted in place only by a force which is required to mount the first member (8) to the opening (4) and a force which is required to mount the second member (9) to the first member (8), and after the mounting, a greater extraction force is required to remove the members from the opening.
