Abstract:

With respect to this cover device for near-infrared sensors, a plate-like cover (20) is arranged in a vehicle (10) so that the near-infrared light sent from a near-infrared sensor (11) transmits through the cover (20) in the thickness direction. A part of the cover (20) in the thickness direction is configured of a lustrous decorative layer (24) which reflects some of visible light incident thereon, while transmitting near-infrared light. The cover (20) is configured such that the light transmittance of near-infrared light is higher than the light transmittance of visible light. The vehicle (10) is provided with a light emitting unit (30) which irradiates the cover (20) with visible light.
