COVER LOCKING MECHANISM

Disclosed is a cover locking mechanism which is provided in a cover that is openably attached to an opening part of a case (10) by way of a hinge, and which has a latch (40) that is formed so as to be able to be latched to the perimeter (17) of the opening part of the case (10). The cover locking mechanism is provided with a plate spring (41) in which one end (one end (41a) of the plate spring) is attached to the cover and the other end (other end (41b) of the plate spring) is attached to the latch (40). The latch (40) attached to the other end (41b) of the plate spring (41) is urged toward the perimeter (17) by an urging force acting in the direction from the inside of the cover toward the perimeter (17) so that the latch (40) is brought into contact with the perimeter (17) of the opening part. The latch (40) has a shape (first notch (44)) which retains the cover at a first open angle when the cover is opened, and also has a shape (second notch (47)) which prevents the cover from being opened to a second open angle or more when the cover is opened, the second open angle being greater than the first open angle.
