The invention relates to a cover means (1) for a camera integrated in a flat face of a mobile electronic device, said cover means having a fastening element (2) for fastening the cover means (1) to the flat face and a closure element (3) which, in a first position, can be positioned such that a field of view of the camera is covered and, in a second position, can be positioned such that the field of view of the camera is exposed, the fastening element (2) having a flat surface (2.1) with a through-opening (2.2) which can be arranged to surround the field of view of the camera, and the closure element (3) being arranged pivotably on the fastening element (2), the closure element (3) being connected to the fastening element (2) by means of a hinge (4). According to the invention, the fastening element (2) and the closure element (3) are substantially planar, wherein a total height of the cover means (1) when the closure element (3) is in the first position is less than 1 mm, and a number of clips (3.1) is arranged on an inner side of the closure element (3) and can be brought into the through-opening (2.2) of the fastening element (2) and clipped there. The invention also relates to an electronic device having a flat face in which a camera is integrated.
