Abstract:
The present invention makes it possible to reliably and appropriately couple the jawbone of a patient to a fixture or the like. A cover screw 1 is a cover member that is to be attached to a hole which is provided in a fixture and serves as a fastening portion to which an abutment is connected in an implant treatment process. The cover screw 1 includes a pillar-like body 10 that is to be mated with the hole of the fixture on one end side, and a protruding portion 20 that is provided on a side surface of the body 10 circumferentially along the body. At least a portion of a surface of the protruding portion 20 facing the one end side and a portion 30 of the side surface of the body 10 that is continuous with the surface of the protruding portion 20 facing the one end side and is near the surface facing the one end side are mirrored.
