Abstract:
A cover removal jig for endoscopes, comprising an encircled section comprising a fitting hole that fits a tip cover so as to cover the tip cover, said tip cover having a locking section attached to a tip-constituting section provided in the tip of an insertion section. The cover removal jig for endoscopes has a protruding section that protrudes inside the encircled section, comes in contact with part of the rim of an opening in the tip cover and is capable of being pressed in the peripheral direction, when the tip cover is inserted so as to abut inside. As a result of being rotated, the rim of the opening is pressed, plastically deformed, and breaks and the lock caused by the locking section is released.
