Abstract:
The present invention relates to a covering device (1) for monitoring persons on person support surfaces, such as beds, wherein the covering device (1) comprises a textile material support (2) that provides a person support surface, an arrangement (3) of textile conductors associated with the textile material support (2), a control device (7) connected in an energy conducting manner to the arrangement (3) of textile conductors and a power source (8), the covering device (1) being characterised in that the textile material support (2) can be placed on an object (A) for supporting persons in such a way that the arrangement (3) of textile conductors is substantially retained on the object (A), at least in relation to movements in a longitudinal direction of the object (A).
