Abstract:
Provided is a covering material which can be suitably used for a wire harness, or the like, that is routed along a luggage arm. Quadrilateral frame blocks constituted by top-bottom frames and left-right side frames that surround a wire-harness insertion space are sequentially connected by hinge parts. Wire-harness insertion openings are formed, with the front and rear surfaces of the quadrilateral frame blocks as openings. The hinge parts are provided to a position at which the left-right side frames are connected between adjacent quadrilateral frame blocks. Below the position at which the connection is made via the hinge parts, bending-angle regulating protrusions that mutually project toward adjacent quadrilateral frame blocks are provided. At least one of the bending-angle regulating protrusions has a triangular shape provided with a tapered surface that is inclined downward from the upper-surface protrusion end of such protrusion. In a state where the quadrilateral frame blocks are connected in a straight line, the upper surfaces of adjacent bending-angle regulating protrusions come into mutual contact, and when the quadrilateral frame blocks are connected in a curved line via the hinge parts, a required bent round-shape is achieved at the position where the tapered surface of the bending-angle regulating protrusions come into contact.
