Abstract:
The present invention relates to a cradle device for mobile communication user equipment, which has extended capabilities, in particular, an improved tactile feel; and to a method for controlling the cradle device. The cradle device according to the present invention comprises: an interface for connection to mobile communication user equipment; an audio receiver for receiving, through the interface, an audio signal that is generated in particular software of the mobile communication user equipment; a filter for eliminating noise from an amplified audio signal that is inputted through the audio receiver; a controller for converting the audio signal of the particular software having been transferred from the filter into a digital signal, obtaining characteristics of the audio signal to output a standard vibration signal and a sound signal corresponding to the characteristics, generating multiple types of vibration data according to the characteristics of audio signals that are inputted from a plurality of particular software applications, and storing the vibration data in a memory; a power supply which is equipped with a supply port for receiving power from outside and supplies the power having been charged through the supply port to the mobile communication user equipment through the interface; a vibration output section for receiving a vibration signal outputted from the controller and operating a vibration element; and a sound output section for receiving a sound signal outputted from the controller and then outputting the sound signal through a speaker.
