Abstract:
A cramp device in a rotary shaft portion, wherein cramping and uncramping actions can be very easily performed by remote control, a powerful cramp force can be exerted, and further, eccentricity of the shaft can be prevented from occurring. The cramp device is constructed such that a shaft portion (7) is rotatably supported by a fixed sleeve (10) which is elastically deformable in the radial direction, a peripheral surface of the fixed sleeve (10) on the side opposite to a rotatably supporting portion (11) is formed to provide a tapered surface (12), a rotatable cramp member (17) is taperingly fitted onto the tapered surface (12) through a roller (15) positioned inclined to the shaft axis, and a driving means (23) for rotating the rotatable cramp member (17) is provided.
