Abstract:
Disclosed is a crane safety management system comprising: a collection unit for collecting information (power information) on change in the magnitude of consumed current according to passage of time in a process in which a crane operates, wherein the information is collected according to divided sections of the time, including a lifting section for lifting an article, a transferring section for transferring the lifted article, and a lowering section for lowering the transferred article; a setting unit for setting a peak warning value for each of the lifting section, the transferring section, and the lowering section; a detection unit for receiving power information collected by the collection unit and detecting the number of times by which a current value of each section of the received power information exceeds a peak warning value of each section, which is set by the setting unit; and a management unit for, when the number of times detected by the detection unit exceeds the number of warnings set within a set unit time, issuing a warning to induce safe operation of the crane.
