Abstract:
The disclosed device simplifies the drive mechanism of a cutter drum in a crankshaft milling machine, and limits costs. The crankshaft milling machine is provided with: a pair of work heads (3), a swing head (14) and a cutter drum drive mechanism (25). The pair of work heads (3) are arranged facing one another along a first shaft (1) which is the main shaft, and support a crankshaft. The swing head (14) is arranged between the pair of work heads (3), has a cutter drum (21) for processing the crankshaft passing through the inner section thereof, is capable of swinging centred on a swing shaft (12) parallel to the first shaft, and is capable of moving along a second shaft which is orthogonal to the first shaft. The cutter drum drive mechanism (25) comprises, on the swing head (14), a drive shaft (30), which is arranged so as to be offset from the swing shaft (12) of the swing head (14), and a cutter drive motor (31) which rotates the drive shaft (30); and the cutter drum drive mechanism (25) drives the cutter drum (21).
