Abstract:
This crankshaft shape inspection method comprises: an acquisition step for acquiring three-dimensional point cloud data for the surface of a crankshaft S; a generation step for using the three-dimensional point cloud data to generate first point cloud data based on point cloud data generated through independent point removal in which data points having a distance from the closest data point greater than or equal to a first threshold Th1 are removed and generate second point cloud data based on point cloud data generated through independent point removal in which data points having a distance from the closest data point greater than or equal to a second threshold Th2 (greater than the first threshold Th1) are removed; and a calculation step for using the first point cloud data to calculate the lateral dimensions of a counterweight SC and using the second point cloud data to calculate the longitudinal direction position of the counterweight SC.
