Abstract:

A seamless crawler forming method capable of reducing production steps, burying spiral reinforced cord, providing thereto a strength characteristic uniformly around the periphery, withstanding a high speed traveling, and pressurizing an outer mold uniformly and securely, wherein a crawler (10) is integrally molded and vulcanized between an outer mold (12) and an inner mold (22) of endless ring shape, characterized by comprising the steps of, after molding the components of the crawler (10) around the periphery of the axially dividable inner mold (22), installing the outer mold (12) divided in circumferential direction and slidable in radial direction on the outside of the components of the crawler (10), and pressurizing the outer mold (12) in radial inner direction so as to vulcanize the components of the crawler (10).
