Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for stably producing a crayon having a desired hardness, wherein gelling failure of a raw material solution does not occur when a crayon is produced by using a benzylidene sorbitol gelling agent while using a carbon black as a coloring agent. Specifically, after dissolving and dispersing a resin component, and a carbon black having a pH of not less than 5.0 into an organic solvent, at least one gelling agent selected from the group consisting of dibenzylidene sorbitol, tribenzylidene sorbitol and their derivatives is dissolved thereinto while heating, thereby preparing a raw material solution. A crayon is obtained by injecting the raw material solution into a molding container, then cooling and gelling the solution therein.
