Title:
A CREASER WHEEL ACTUATION MECHANISM FOR A TAPER TOOL
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/119532
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
A single finger creaser trigger 18 is mounted onto the valve handle 12 and when pulled/squeezed, actuates the creaser wheel 20. The creaser trigger 18 is attached to the upper side of a fully rotatable (360°) mechanism 22 using an adjustable link 24. When the trigger 18 is pulled, the mechanism 22 translates the pull motion into a pushing motion on push pins 26 extending the spring-loaded creaser wheel 20 that is linked onto that same mechanism 22. The more the operator pulls on the trigger 18, the more the creaser wheel 20 is extended. The invention can be applied to perform the desired action, depending on the normal/free state of the creaser wheel 20 (it either engages wheel or retracts wheel).
