Abstract:
The invention concerns a method in which credit is obtained from a credit vendor, the subscriber's telephone number and the amount of the credit being input into a device which contains a coding algorithm and emits a coded figure. In order to register the credit in a function unit of the telephone network, a special access code is dialled at the subscriber's telephone handset and the coded figure is then input.
