Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] To improve the wet strength, softness and water absorbency of a crepe paper. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A crepe paper which is formed by making a paper from a material for paper making comprising a raw material pulp containing 40 to 100 wt % of a softwood pulp, an anionic carboxymethyl cellulose, a cationic or ampholytic wet strength improving agent and a cationic or ampholytic softening agent, and subjecting the resultant paper to a creping treatment, and which exhibits a water absorption of 13.0 g/g or more.
