Abstract:
Provided are a crime preventing method and a crime preventing device, which enable an
inhabitant having returned to his or her empty house, for example, to confirm it
in advance before entry into the house whether or not anyone has intruded into the
house or whether or not the intruder hides himself or herself in the room. The
crime preventing device (G) comprises a detecting unit (A) for detecting the
intruder having intruded into a detection range, a clock unit (B) for keeping the
monitor time, a storage unit (C) for storing the kept time and the number of the
intruder detections by the detecting unit (A), as history information, a display
unit (D) for displaying the history information stored in the storage unit (C),
a threatening unit (E) using a speaker, and a control unit (F) for controlling the
storing operation of the storage unit (C), the operation to output the history information
to the display unit (D), and the threatening operation of the threatening unit
(E). With the history information outputted, the confirmer can confirm the
presence/absence of the intruder, and can judge the situation of the intrusion into
the house, i.e., whether or not the intruder has existed, in advance before the
confirmer opens the house door, so that confirmer can open the door with safety.
