Abstract:

Provided is a crimp terminal provided with a crimp part for connecting, by way of crimping, an exposed conductor part of a coated electrical wire provided with said conductor part and a coating for coating the conductor part. The crimp part is formed into a cylindrical shape having a hollow cross section such that an end thereof at an opposite side in the length direction to another end thereof where the conductor part is inserted is sealed. The sealed end is sealed by being welded. The crimp part has, provided to an interior thereof into which the exposed conductor part is inserted, a guide part having a diameter which is smaller than that of the coating of the coated electrical wire, and larger than that of the conductor part. The length to the guide part from the crimp-part end where the conductor part is inserted is shorter than the length of the exposed conductor part of the coated electrical wire.
