Abstract:
Provided are: a crimp terminal having a new structure and capable of advantageously suppressing disconnection of a core wire; and a crimp terminal-equipped electric wire. The present invention comprises: an electrical connection part 22 connected to a counterpart terminal 20; and a flat plate-like core wire crimping part 24 that is connected to a base end side of the electrical connection part 22 and is crimped to a core wire 16 exposed to a terminal end of a covered electric wire 14, wherein the base end section of the core wire crimping part 24 has a chamfered section 34 in which a corner section on a crimping surface 29 side to the core wire 16 is chamfered over the entire length, and a chamfer angle α, which is an inclination angle of the chamfered section 34 with respect to the crimping surface 29, is set within the range of 15º-35º.
