Abstract:
The present invention makes production less difficult and ensures the waterproofness of a site of contact with an aluminum core wire. According to the present invention, a barrel part (11) of a crimp terminal (1): has an inner barrel piece (112) and an outer barrel piece (113); and an inner surface (11a) thereof is provided with a plurality of dispersed recesses (114) and with a groove (116) that extends in a first region (11a-1) of the outer barrel piece (113), a second region (11a-2) that is near a terminal part (12), and a third region (11a-3) that is on the opposite side. A second seal portion (142) that is part of a seal member (14) that is formed from an adhesive gel is formed as a band that has a portion that juts out after crimping. A first seal portion (141) is not as wide as the second seal portion (142) and is formed to correspond to the groove (116).
