Abstract:

The purpose of the invention is to obtain a crimped composite fiber having excellent crimping properties. The invention is a crimped composite fiber, which has a cross-sectional shape capable of being crimped, and also has at least two regions of a region (a) and a region (b) in a transverse section thereof, wherein the region (a) is composed of an olefin-based polymer (A) and the region (b) is composed of an olefin-based polymer (B), the olefin-based polymer (A) and the olefin-based polymer (B) are polymers in which at least one of Mz/Mw, melting point, and MFR is different, and a specific fatty acid amide is added to the olefin-based polymer (A) and/or the olefin-based polymer (B). The invention is also a non-woven fabric comprising the crimped composite fiber.
