A crimping tool according to the present invention is provided with at least a pair of crimping members and is configured such that a part to be crimped is sandwiched in a crimping direction, which is a direction perpendicular to the axial direction of a shaft, by a pair of crimping surfaces, which are surfaces located at the opposing end portions of the pair of crimping members. Furthermore, the pair of crimping surfaces are configured such that as a crimping interval, which is the interval between the pair of crimping surfaces in the crimping direction, increases toward the outside in the radial direction of the shaft, the crimping interval increases toward a member to be secured, in the axial direction of the shaft, and a crimping angle, which is the angle formed by the pair of crimping surfaces in a cross section along a plane parallel to both the axial direction of the shaft and the crimping direction, becomes smaller toward the inside in the radial direction of the shaft. Thus, the member to be secured can be firmly secured to the shaft by sandwiching and raising, by means of the crimping tool, the portion of the outer-circumferential surface of the shaft (which has been inserted through an insertion hole provided in the member to be secured) that is adjacent to the member to be secured.
