Abstract:
A croconaine polymer sensor for trace detection of nitrogen dioxide in a high humidity environment, and an application thereof. The sensor is a nitrogen dioxide resistive sensor based on a naphthalenediamine croconaine polymer containing a conjugated double-ion structure, and comprises a super-hydrophobic layer, an interdigitated electrode, and a coating material coated on the interdigitated electrode. The hydrophobic layer is polyvinylidene fluoride, and can resist 70% of ambient humidity. The coating material is a naphthalenediamine croconaine polymer containing a conjugated double-ion structure. The sensor can stably work at high humidity and room temperature, can detect a concentration as low as 40 ppb with a response/reply time of 182 s/165 s, has excellent selectivity, and can effectively eliminate the interference of other gases.
