A cross cut device of a strip steel flying shear comprises a fly shear, a belt conveyor (2) and a chute (3) provided behind the fly shear and below the belt conveyor (2). The fly shear comprises a fly shear frame (4) which can reciprocate in the conveying direction of the steel plate, and a shearing mechanism (5) provided on the fly shear frame (4). The belt conveyor (2) comprises a driving belt wheel (2a) and a driven belt wheel (2b), wherein the driving belt wheel (2a) is provided at one end of the belt conveyor (2), the end is far away from the fly shear. In a manner of being able to move in the steel plate conveying direction, the driven belt wheel (2b) is provided at one end of the belt conveyor (2), the end is close to the fly shear, and the driven wheel (2b) is fixed on the fly shear frame (4). By designing the fly shear and the belt conveyor into an integral structure, the cross cut device of a strip steel flying shear synchronizes the fly shear and the belt conveyor, thus the complex structure for realizing synchronization in the belt conveyor is eliminated, the equipment structure is effectively simplified, the cost is reduced, and the reliability of the equipment is improved. In addition, by providing an intermediate belt conveyor, the operation is convenient during sample shearing, and meanwhile, the materials which are cut down are convenient to enter the chute.
