Abstract:
Disclosed in embodiments of the present application are a cross-domain access method and a content delivery network edge server, for use in improving the performance of an interface. The method provided by the embodiments of the present application comprises: intercepting a detection request for cross-domain access sent by a terminal; determining, according to the detection request, security setting information of an origin server corresponding to the cross-domain access; and returning a response message of the detection request to the terminal, the response message of the detection request carrying the security setting information, and the security setting information being used for instructing the terminal to send a cross-domain access request. The edge server intercepts and responds to the detection request from a terminal browser, such that the time delay caused by back-to-origin of the detection request can be shorten, the waiting time of a user can be shortened, and the user experience can be improved.
