A crossed roller bearing with a convex raceway and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. A V-shaped raceway of the crossed roller bearing is convex. The convex V-shaped raceway is formed through plunge grinding or precision hard turning, or the convex V-shaped raceway and other important precision machined surfaces of races are sequentially formed through precision hard turning during one-pass chucking and positioning. A crossed roller bearing having the convex raceway and designed and machined according to the foregoing descriptions is superior to a crossed roller bearing having a non-convex raceway and formed through grinding, in the following respects: an edge effect of the roller-raceway contact pair is dramatically reduced or even completely eliminated, contact between a roller outer race surface and the raceway and between a roller end surface and the raceway is improved, power consumption and a temperature rise caused by friction when the bearing is running are lowered, and an anti-skew capability of the bearing is enhanced, thereby improving the running accuracy, bearing capability, running reliability and service life of the bearing, having important practical implications for engineering.
