Abstract:
Provided are a crosshead, a frame, and a crosshead type internal combustion engine, the crosshead being provided with a crosshead pin (52) and a semi-cylindrical bearing metal (71) for rotatably supporting an outer surface of the crosshead pin (52). The bearing metal (71) is provided with: a support surface (71a) disposed on an inner surface of a circumferential middle section; cooling oil pockets (72) disposed in axial middle sections of the inner surface on both circumferential ends of the support surface (71a); cooling oil communication holes (74) for providing communication with the cooling oil pockets (72) from an outer surface of the bearing metal; multiple lubrication oil pockets (73) independently disposed on the inner surface of circumferential end sections on both axial ends of the cooling oil pockets (72); and lubrication oil communication holes (75) for providing communication with the multiple lubrication oil pockets (73) from the outer surface. The crosshead pin (52) is provided with cooling oil supply passages (81) communicating with the cooling oil pockets (72).
