Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a crosslinkable resin composition which is unlikely to cause an increase in pressure or discharge fluctuations in an extruding machine to which the resin has been introduced, with which an insulation coating layer can be stably extrusion molded continuously over a long period of time, and as a result of the foregoing, enables the lengthening of electrical wire and cable production-units. This crosslinkable resin composition contains 100 parts by mass of ethylene resin (A), stabilizer (B) comprising 0.001 to 0.5 parts by mass of hindered amine-type photostabilizer (B3), and 0.5 to 3.0 parts by mass of an organic peroxide (C). The hindered amine-type photostabilizer (B3) is a mixture of low molecular weight-type hindered amine compound having a molecular weight of 100 to 1,000 and a high-molecular weight hindered amine compound having a molecular weight of 1,500 to 5,000. The reducing viscosity (40˚C) of the hindered amine-type photostabilizer (B3) is 3.5 to 5.5 cm3/g and the reducing viscosity (110˚C) of the hindered amine-type photostabilizer (B3) is 2.0 to 3.5 cm3/g.
