Abstract:
A crowning measurement device capable of quickly measuring the amount of crowning formed on a tapered recess (10) of work (8). In the crowning measurement device, the outer peripheral surface (16) of a measurement head (11) inserted into the tapered recess (10) has a projection (17) coming into contact with the center of the inner peripheral surface of the tapered recess (10), one end-side nozzle openings (19) for jetting air to one end section of the inner peripheral surface of the tapered recess (10), and the other end-side nozzle openings (20) for jetting air to the other end section of the inner peripheral surface of the tapered concave(10). A first air micrometer (14) is connected to the one end-side nozzle openings (19), and a second air micrometer (15) is connected to the other end-side nozzle openings (20).
