Title:
CRUSHED CELLS AND COMPOSITION THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/173163
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Crushed cells are obtained by culturing gram-negative bacteria and physically crushing the gram-negative bacterial cells, contain all components that contain immunity-activating components of the cells, and contain LPS having a molecular weight of 20,000 or less as an active ingredient. These crushed cells are effective as a health food, drug, skin care product, bath salt, prophylactic feed and growth-promoting feed additive for crustaceans and shellfish, fish, domestic poultry, livestock, and pets, and make it possible to provide a natural immunity-activating material derived from gram-negative bacterial cells having a prophylactic effect and growth-promoting effect, and inexpensive, practical microbial crushed cells and a composition thereof.
