The purpose of the present invention is to accurately sense the occurrence of a fast burn, and spray a fire extinguishing agent at an appropriate location and timing. The present invention is provided with: three first pressure sensing units that are installed in the circumferential direction of a housing (31) in the vicinity of a crushing unit (1A) and sense the pressure inside the housing (31); three second pressure sensing units that are installed in the peripheral direction of the housing (31) in the vicinity of a sorting unit (1B) and sense the pressure inside the housing (31); a control unit for determining whether a fast burn of a fuel has occurred on the basis of a pressure value detected at two or more of the three first pressure sensing units or at two or more of the three second pressure sensing units, and on the basis of a predetermined threshold value; and a first and second fire extinguishing agent sprayer (51, 52) that, when the occurrence of a fast burn of the fuel has been determined by the control unit, are placed in the peripheral direction of the housing (31) in the vicinity of the crushing unit (1A) and the vicinity of the sorting unit (1B) and that spray a fire extinguishing agent onto the crushing unit (1A) and the sorting unit (1B).
