Abstract:
A crusher (10) comprises a frame (11), a pair of arms (12, 13) rotatably supported by the frame (11) and capable of gripping an object to be crushed to crush the object, a hydraulic cylinder having a piston rod whose axial direction is normal to the opening/closing direction (14) of the pair of arms (12, 13), and a link mechanism (30) for opening/closing the arms (12, 13) by the operation of the hydraulic cylinder. The piston rod is attached to the frame (11) by a pin (23) passing through the side surface of the piston rod so that the piston rod is rotatable around the pin (23). The link mechanism (30) connects the outer sleeve of the hydraulic cylinder to the arms (12, 13).
